Hello! I’m Sarah. It’s a pleasure to meet you.
You know that feeling of satisfaction you get from solving a sudoku puzzle? I feel that way when I spot tricky errors in print. Transforming an almost-ready transcript into a beautifully polished document is fulfilling work.
Transcript proofreading and educational background
My formal training in proofreading according to NCRA guidelines was based on the two most widely used stylebooks: Morson’s English Guide for Court Reporters and Bad Grammar/Good Punctuation. I have proofread tens of thousands of transcript pages spanning a wide variety of topics. These include trials, hearings, depositions, examinations under oath, interpreted proceedings, arbitration, and expert testimony. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Western Washington University.
My commitment to you
With your reputation for excellence, you need a proofreader you can trust to bring out the best in your work and never miss a deadline. When you partner with me, you will have peace of mind knowing that I will read each page with careful attention and return the proofs to you in a timely manner.
Clear communication is the key to a successful business relationship. You can expect prompt responses and personable interactions with me at every step of the way. I respect that you have an important job to do, so I strive to make the final stage of preparing your transcripts a smooth and hassle-free experience.
