Hello! I’m Sarah. It’s a pleasure to meet you.
You know that feeling of satisfaction you get from solving a sudoku puzzle? I feel that way when I spot tricky errors in print. Transforming your transcripts into beautifully polished documents is fulfilling work.
My formal training in proofreading and scoping according to NCRA guidelines was based on the two most widely used stylebooks: Morson’s English Guide for Court Reporters and Bad Grammar/Good Punctuation. Since 2018, I have helped my clients produce more than a thousand transcripts spanning a wide variety of topics. These include trials, hearings, depositions, examinations under oath, interpreted proceedings, arbitration, and expert testimony. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Western Washington University.
My commitment to you
With your reputation for excellence, you need a scopist or proofreader you can trust to bring out the best in your work and never miss a deadline. When you partner with me, you will have peace of mind knowing that I will review every word with careful attention and return your files in a timely manner.
Clear communication is the key to a successful business relationship. You can expect prompt responses and personable interactions with me at every step of the way. I respect that you have an important job to do, so I strive to make the final stages of preparing your transcripts a smooth and hassle-free experience.
